International Paper Expands Shorewood Presence in Mexico

Shorewood Packaging, a business of International Paper, has completed the first phase of its strategy to expand into Latin America. Shorewood de Mexico was formed as the result of Shorewood's joint venture with Cartograf S.A. de C.V., a leading packaging manufacturer in Mexico. Shorewood de Mexico will utilize Cartograf's facility in Aguascalientes (central Mexico) to provide high-end packaging solutions for multinational companies in Latin America. Shorewood de Mexico will leverage on a skilled and motivated workforce ready to provide world-class quality and service.
