(FM&Co.) acted as Patria’s exclusive financial advisor with respect to the sale of the Windhoff Vammas airport ground support equipment business including identifying and approaching potential buyers, managing due diligence and advising on valuation, structuring and negotiations through closing.
After a comprehensive search for potential new owners, FM&Co. approached a number of selected companies in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Patria elected to enter into exclusive negotiations with Laweco Maschinen- und Apparatebau GmbH because of Laweco’s strategic interest in supporting Windhoff Vammas’ existing customers, as well as its reputation for producing safe and reliable customized lifting systems and equipment .
